Migraines from Invisalign?
I have had three migraine headaches this week with all of the works- distorted vision, nausea, throbbing pain on the right side of my face. I am beginning to wonder if it is from the Invisalign – which I also had put on three days ago. I have been taking Ibuprofen, caffeine and trying to sleep the headaches off, but I am beginning to worry that this might be a daily occurrence. Is this typical at the beginning of treatment?

Yes, at the beginning of treatment a lot of patients have these symptoms, it is normal they will go away soon, don’t worry.
yes, a lot.
Yeah, it causes headaches especially when you get a new aligner (around every 3 weeks). This is because our teeth are slowly moving and there is pressure on your jaw bone. It is supposed to get better as your teeth fit into the aligners more easily. But hang in there-take advil or some other pain relief as directed.
