Massive headache when doing pushups?
I just recently started doing pushups again and I’ve been getting a massive migraine/headache when I get the 20 mark.
I’ve always done pushups all my life without getting headaches, so I don’t know what could be the problem.
Could it be my blood pressure or diet? I don’t believe it’s the way I’m doing my pushups because I’ve always done them this way.
Anyone got any advice?
Do you think a Chiropractor would be able to help?

well i know that when i do pushups blood rushes to my head really fast and my face turns really red and feels really pressurized. maybe thats why you are getting headaches.
It probably starts to feel like work at the 20 mark so you may be holding your breath which will cause a headache. Next time pay attention to your breathing and find out if that’s it.
I would guess it’s increased inter-cranial pressure. Check your B/P at one of those things at the supermarket. B/P could be to blame and diet does affect B/P. If you are eating a lot of already prepared food, you may be getting too much sodium. I don’t really know what a Chiropractor would do for you, but you could consult your primary care provider since this a recent change for you.
