A safer way to use Imitrex, and it will last longer too.

iam gonna try it….but nt sure if I can while having a full blown attack being woken up in my sleep. thank u for posting this….God Bless, be pain free my friend.
watch my video i have posted….not so pretty
absolutely WRONG……good you stopped reading that nonsense.
what do you mean it didn’t work for you?
you inject under the skin about 3/8 inch, not into a vein.
Imetrex works for most migrains, and definately clusters.
Y DIDN’T IMITREX WORK FOR ME, I ONCE READ IF IMITREX TOOK YOUR HEADACHE AWAY, U DIDN’T SUFFER FROM CLUSTER HEADACHES, U SUFFER FROM MIGRAINS. TWO DIFFERENT HEADACHES.
Nice video. Thanks
I’ve never heard of such reactions, but it wouldn’t hurt to try the 1/3 approach. It has always seemed to work just as fast, and has the same affect for me.
Good luck to you.
Thanks for the tip. I avoid Imitrex simply because of rebounds and feeling really sick 24 hrs later. The rebounds are bad. I always find when I inject the Imitrex my attack hits a bad peak. And then 15 min voila its gone. But within 24 hours I feel lethargic. Get rebounds 10 fold and get really bloated and feel horrible. I ONLY use them for KIP 10s. Question…does the smaller dose change the affect , meaning do you have to wait longer for it to work? would my rebounds be less?
Thank you for this.
I have been using my Imitrex sparingly, similar to the way you do.
However, I never thought to put the needle/syringe back into the unit, and use the “gun” or “pen” for the last blast. Once I took it out, it would stay out, and keeping it sterile was always a concern.
Very glad I saw this! Thanks again.
24 year sufferer in Boston. They SHOULD be called “Suicide Headache” by all doctors. Perhaps then, maybe, patients would get the attention they deserve.
Thanks.Great tip!
