Some people experience chronic headaches for 15 days out of every month. Each episode lasts several consecutive days. Before anything else, anyone who has these episodes should ask for a medical work up in order to rule out any medical condition that may be causing the headaches. Finding out that you have no other ailment except chronic headaches will by itself already bring you some measure of relief.

HI! I recently had to take a trip to the ER for a whopper sinus headache.. I thought it was a migraine it was soo bad! I couldnt watch tv, eat, had to keep the lights off, etc. I was given vicodin at the hospital with some to take home, but honestly, it really didnt do much but make my stomach feel icky! Now I’m starting to get another one and was wondering if there are any home remedies that work for these retched headaches! I did take a vicodin to try to prevent it from getting too bad, but dont think it’s helping much. I live in florida and it’s really really hot and humid lately and thats usually when i get the whoppin headaches. thank you in advance for your advice!

Good Food to Fight Migraine

Good Food to Fight Migraine

Hi everyone,

I’ve had my Merina for a while now (7 months). For the last 4 or 5 months I’ve developed hellish dizziness and headaches. I am a frequent flier at the local ER due to nausea and dehydration. My neurologist said I am having benign situational vertigo and migraine vertigo. I guess I’m not satisfied with that diagnosis. I’ve gone through the gambit of the ENT, hearing tests, brain MRIs, possible med interactions, chronic pain associations, and now the neurologist’s opinion (phew!)…the benign situational vertigo and migraine vertigo is the latest diagnosis (one of many diagnosis..grrrr..they keep changing it so know I’m going out on a limb with this).

I’ve been reading on migraines and all the possible triggers that can cause them. One can be hormones, mostly oral contreceptives, but the Merina releases hormones over time correct?

Meniere’s treatments?

Has anyone with Meniere’s disease used Serc or intralymphatic steroid injections as a treatment for the vertigo/imbalance? Any problems/side effects? Also, after 6 years no two docs can agree on a diagnosis (Inner ear or Migraine variant). Due to have another round of vestibular testing next week. Any suggestions? Have episodes of vertigo, mostly feel like I am going to fall when I am sitting. Blurred vision, sometimes headache. Have had a few ‘drop attacks’ in the past. Feels like a baloon in my head being inflated.

Mixture of Migraine and tension headache?

I don’t know if it is possible but I have the symptoms of both headache. I have a history of Sinus headache too. Let me describe you my symptoms. My eyes burn a bit, headache is only at my fronthalf and lower back of my head. I feel like I am about to sneeze all the time, when I do so, it feels better. I used to have problem sleeping.(till last week) I started having this after falling in depression.(not in depression anymore) physical activity aggravates it if I do it during my headaches. If I read something, or use my mind, it increases it. If I continue doing it, a lot of people started yelling in my ear, and I start imagining picture w/ messed up lenght and width. Drinking cool stuff relieves it. Which reminds me, I have a history of heat exhaustion. It gives me a feeling of loosing and irritation. Also, watching tv and sitting on computer worsens it.
Btw, when people are yelling at me, it is in my head, not in realities.

My doctor perscribed a medication to shrink the gland, however she said it would take three weeks to see results. what home remedies/natural cures can i use to stop the pain now?
